PSITH 的設計源自研究中一個清晰的洞察:現代人即使身處自然中,也難以真正靜心感受周遭的聲音。步道上的旅人大多匆匆路過,從未停下來聆聽腳下泥土、樹梢風聲或遠處水流的語言。PSITH's design stems from a clear research insight: even in nature, modern people struggle to truly quiet themselves and listen to the sounds around them. Most trail travelers pass by quickly, never stopping to hear the earth underfoot, wind in the treetops, or the distant language of flowing water.

裝置以傾斜的水泥石塊為意象,如同大地中生長出來的聆聽之石,邀請路人停下、坐下、貼近——在繁忙的步履間創造一個暫時的靜止點,也為山中段體驗最差的位置注入新的停留動機。The device evokes a tilted concrete stone — a listening rock grown from the earth — inviting passersby to stop, sit, and lean close. It creates a momentary point of stillness amid the busy stride, and injects a new reason to linger at the trail's weakest experiential point.

水泥的粗礪與不鏽鋼的光澤形成對比,呼應自然材質的原始感,也象徵人工介入自然的謙遜姿態。裝置不試圖壓過自然,而是成為人與聲景之間最安靜的橋梁。The roughness of concrete against the luster of stainless steel echoes raw natural materials and symbolizes a humble human intervention in nature. The device does not try to overpower nature — it becomes the quietest possible bridge between people and soundscape.
